The 1st EDEG Conference took place on June 11-12, 2026 and was coordinated by the Standing Field Committee for Development Economics of the German Economic Association and hosted by IfW Kiel.

Launch of EDEG at the 5th International Conference on Development Economics
AFEDEV coordinate the launch event of EDEG which will coincide with the Fifth International Conference on Development Economics (ICDE) on July 2-4, 2025 hosted by Nanterre University (Paris)
